a whole new twist to the waiting game
June 28, 2006remember the waiting game i have been playing for more than a month now?
you know, the i’ll-be-moved-to-QA-but-don’t-know-when-it-will-happen waiting game?
yes, that game.
the HR department just hired a new QA officer.
[it’s fine with me. i know they are bound to take this course of action since we’re in a bind right now. damn, stats!!!]
the punchline? the new officer was from our company, too. he finished their batch’s one-year contract to get rid of the bond and resigned six months ago. there’s a rumor that surfaced that he was contacted by the HR department and was offered a position. i’m not sure if the position he was offered was THE position we were supposed to fill in or if he was asked to just apply for all the vacant positions.
[whatever. he wasn’t even one of the veteran reps on the floor and i don’t even know who he is. o_0]
me, sourgraping? pfft! you bet!!
[there’s nothing i can do about it but whine a little, do my time and swallow the bitter pill. ampotah!!! hand me the sugar, please!]
